The RV Rev Up - Great items for RVers with Pets!

Stars, Stripes & Savings at Walmart.com! Ends July 4th.

Ok, Since we are in the middle of a renovation and I love to buy things for the RV, I thought I would post some great things I found that make RV travel easier and more comfortable for myself and my 4 legged friends.

1. Exercise Pens -  If you are like us, you like to actually enjoy the outdoors with your dogs.  When you have multiple dogs this can be a little difficult.  We use exorcise pens and they work great!  The dogs can lay out and be with us but no one is getting tangled in leashes.

2. Easy Organization EVERYWHERE - The only way to really enjoy RVing is to make sure you are organized.  That means lots and lots of baskets, bins and small shelves!  You can see what's in them and they fit in all your nooks and crannies.  One of my favorites is the plastic basket with the handle.  You can fit everything from snacks to toiletries to dog toys and with the handle, it is easy to grab and go! Just click on one of the pictures to grab them from Amazon!

 3. Hooks and Bungee Cords - Every free space in our RV has a hook or a basket.  The reality of travel in an rv is that you are driving a house on wheels and everything moves and shifts.  You also are living in a small space so every corner needs to be utilized!

4. Just general useful items:

Over the door garbage          Paper Towel Holder     Magnetic Strip

5. Clever Ideas:

  • Dump Station Clean Up - So I saw this really interesting Dump Clean Up Station.  I actually did this to my own RV.  The only change was that they mounted the hand sanitizer so that when the door was closed it was upright and when open, upside down.  I thought that was odd as it can't pump upside down and yes, I guess it could leak but it is only hand sanitizer.  I wanted to use it while still attached to the door so I attached it right side up.

  • Broom Holders - Use them to hold things upright, and not just cleaning tools.  You can see flashlights work as well!

  • Magnetic Strip for Knives: This is a great one.  No worries about how to store your knives while moving.  They stay on the wall!
  • Shoe holders: Use it for shoes, use it for items.  Cut one and put it by the door, or under the bed.  The possibilities are endless!

I hope you got some great ideas for your RV.  As always, We love comments and questions!
